CHRIS DOUGIES, DENIES TOUR WITH USHER, PLUS SAYS MJ TRIBUTE WAS HIS “ULTIMATE APOLOGY”
Chris stopped through BET’s 106 and Park along with actor Idris Elba to promote their new movie Takers which will be in theaters THIS Friday, August 27th. Chris also talked about the success of his single “Deuces” and finally responded to the rumors that him and Usher would be co-headlining a tour soon.
“At first we were talking about it, but I think maybe something in the future. But right now, I’m just doing the whole Chris Breezy thing,†Chris on joint tour with Usher.
He also addressed the BULLS#!T rumors about his emotional tribute to Michael Jackson being a publicity stunt:
“A lot of people don’t know, I was going to see Michael Jackson the day he died. I was on my way to the Staples Center to see him so being able to be on stage and at the same time I was trying to embody everything that he was doing and give the best performance I could. When I heard ‘Man in the Mirror,’ the words started speaking to me in my personal life. It just touched me. It wasn’t fake. I know people were trying to put extras on it, but everything was genuine. That was my ultimate apology, hands down.”
