CHRIS BROWN’S 2009 GRAMMY PERFORMANCE THAT NEVER HAPPENED + 2011 NOMINATION SUBMISSIONS!
When I saw the news of Chris Brown’s apparent 2011 Grammy submission for nominations, I automatically thought about the performance that never happened. In the video below, Chris does a run through/sound-check for his chart-topping single “Forever” that he was set to perform at the 2009 Grammy Awards but never had to chance to. It seemed to me the first part was missing something but I thought the rest of the performance was pretty dope!
Today Chris’ submissions for the 2011 Grammy nominations were released. Peep the list under the cut!
OFFICIAL (REALLY?) ‘YEAH 3X!’ SINGLE COVER…
I mean, we all know Chris is on some next-level sh#t. This is just that. I’m pretty sure he hasn’t officially confirmed this as the Yeah 3x! single cover, but he’s currently using it as his background on twitter. According to his aunt, Yeah 3x! and No Bullsh#t were officially released to the radio today. So, that means request them mofos! You can google your radio station information.
And I failed to blog about this last week, but Chris was nominated for an American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Male. VOTE NOW! He’s up against Trey Songz and Usher. Not surprising.

T.I. unfortunately received more jail time today as a result of violating his probation a few weeks ago. He was sentenced 11 months in prison. His label released a new track from the rapper titled “Get Back Up” featuring Chris Brown. The song is from T.I.’s 7th studio album ‘King Uncaged’ and according to GossipOnThis, a video for the track was shot earlier this week while the two were in Atlanta. I definitely like this song! Fits both of their situations completely. They’re only human! Give it a listen above. Download below.

THEY SAID: CHRIS BROWN SPIT KANYE WEST “RUNAWAY” LYRICS…
…while partying with Trey Songz, Bow Wow and Ja Rule at Manhattan’s Marquee nightclub for the 10th anniversary party of BET’s 106&Park on Friday night, October 8.
He stunned the star-studded crowd when he took the mic and began spitting lyrics to West’s “Runaway”, inspired by the rapper’s fallout from last year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which saw him storm the stage during Taylor Swift’s winning moment. [source]
Apparently Chris sang the lines, “Let’s have a toast for the douche-bags/Let’s have a toast for the a**holes!” I don’t know how true this is but, I like that “Runaway” song by ‘Ye. Chris should hop on the remix for obvious reasons. It’ll be dope!

Ciara dropped literally her remix to Breezy’s chart-topping single ‘Deuces’ two days after the official star-studded remix began making its rounds on the ‘net. I’ll say she pulled it off. It sounds pretty good. Blogger and friend of the blog Miss Jia, asked If you guys could hear a FULL, ALL FEMALE remix to Deuces, who would you throw on there and why? Go post your thoughts! I wouldn’t mind hearing Nicki Minaj, Trina and Lil’ Kim sans Ciara on that thang. But you know that ain’t happenin’. Peep the track above!

Breezy announced this crazy collabo via USTREAM a few nights ago and as promised, here is the final product. The Deuces remix featuring Drake, Ye, Tip, Fabo, and Andre Three Stacks. – Street Anthem
This sh#t is fire! It’s the clean version, so I don’t consider it “official” though. Drake ripped the beginning- per usual. I’m sort of bummed that Chris didn’t record a new verse. Eh. And the remix doesn’t include Tyga. *shrugs* What do you think of it? Give it a listen above!

CHRIS BROWN PLAYS “FAME” ALBUM TRACKS, TALKS KIM KARDASHIAN AND ANSWERS FAN QUESTIONS ON USTREAM!
Last night Chris streamed live around 9 p.m. (EST) after the premiere event for his 12 Strands: Matrix mini film! He spent over an hour talking to his fans about the Matrix film, plans for his new “FAME” album and dished on the Deuces remix line-up. He talked about his crossover-type Pop single ‘Yeah 3x!’ and he even played a snippet of his new Urban single ‘Calypso’. He was too excited and played two more snippets of new songs, ‘Sweetheart’ and ‘All Off’.
He also talked about shooting the “Ain’t Thinking Bout You” video with Bow Wow tomorrow (Wednesday). “The song will be a little different though,” he says. The beat and chorus will stay the same but Bow Wow has an additional verse.
Fans watching the stream had a chance to ask him questions as well. He addressed his touring options, plans for movies, being the ‘Dougie’ spokesperson and even tackled rumors about dating Kim Kardashian. Peep both parts by clicking the links below!
