R&B star grooves to Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘Protect Ya Kneck,’ Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ and his own hits.
Bright, sparkly lights designed in an arc pierced the stage and shone down on R&B singer Chris Brown as he hit the stage at Sunday’s Video Music Awards.
Dressed in a white formal suit, the performer slow-shuffled down to the dance stage, and once he landed in the middle of the dance floor, he was flanked by full-skirted dancers. He gyrated and danced and sang his hit “Yeah 3X,” while Kanye West jumped to his feet and clapped his approval.
On the psychedelic set, Brown high-stepped his way through the track, and eventually was joined onstage by tuxedo-clad dancers. He then moved into the 1993 Wu-Tang Clan classic “Protect Ya Neck,” moving to the ’90s backbeats in traditional hip-hop dance breaks.

Chris Brown hit the stage in Las Vegas Monday night (August 22) with rapper/producer Swizz Beatz for the Reebox Classics party. Breezy joined Swizz at the Mandalay Bay Hotel as “special guest” to perform their hype-ass track titled “Dance Like A White Girl”. Check a video of the show below! Chris comes out at the 59:50 mark.

Chris Brown took the stage on the Today Show this morning apart of their Summer Concert Series around 8:35 AM EST! He performed Forever, She Ain’t You, and Yeah 3x!The hosts confirmed more than 18,000 people were outside in Rockefeller Plaza to see him which makes it their biggest concert crowd ever! Chris Brown jetted overseas to perform in front of 50,000 people at the Luanda’s Cidaela stadium for the “Festival Unitel 10 anos Contigo” in Angola, Africa Sunday (July 3). Chris Brown took the stage at the 2011 BET Awards Sunday night and gave the best performance of the night (honestly, aside from Kelly Rowland’s thighs and lip syncing). He performed a “medley” of his tracks from his fourth studio album “F.A.M.E.” He opened with his latest single “She Ain’t You”, then brought out Busta Rhymes for “Look At Me Now” then did a dance number (not choreographed by Kevin Hart) to “Paper, Scissors, Rock”. After speaking with someone from BET yesterday (trying to get the scoop on Chris’ performance), I got that he was still in CLOSED rehearsals so that info wasn’t ready to be divulged yet.
