Looks like Chris Brown’s next album could be coming sooner than we think. Last night Chris hosted a listening session for his fourth LP F.A.M.E + Fortune in the company of his manager Tina Davis, American Idol music director Ray Chew, several industry big names and media. which is due this spring. Billboard was also on hand during the session and tweeted a few details of the night. They revealed that the album is expected to be released this spring, which means we can expect an official single and music in about a month or so.
CHRIS BROWN WILL RELEASE HIS ‘IN MY ZONE 2′ MIXTAPE ON BLACK FRIDAY…
…according to a tweet he posted Friday evening (Nov. 3). The news came right after Chris dropped a brand new DJ-tagged track called “Between The Lines” featuring Kevin McCall. It’s been a few months since the first time Chris hinted at the idea of doing another ‘In My Zone’ but I called it mentioned it in post Friday, hours before his tweet. I’m pretty excited about this because I still bump the first IMZ. Can’t wait! FYI: Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. So the tentative release date for IMZ 2 is Friday, November 26, 2010. I will keep you up to date.

CHRIS BROWN’S 2009 GRAMMY PERFORMANCE THAT NEVER HAPPENED + 2011 NOMINATION SUBMISSIONS!
When I saw the news of Chris Brown’s apparent 2011 Grammy submission for nominations, I automatically thought about the performance that never happened. In the video below, Chris does a run through/sound-check for his chart-topping single “Forever” that he was set to perform at the 2009 Grammy Awards but never had to chance to. It seemed to me the first part was missing something but I thought the rest of the performance was pretty dope!

“I love performing in my home state of Virginia and appreciate the community for giving me a chance to help out Virginia and people who are dealing with these tough timesâ€, says Brown. “I appreciate all of the recording artists who performed for this cause and gave it their allâ€.
Richmond, VA (June 7, 2010) – Virginia Stand Up! A Call to Action, the May 15th benefit concert from Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling recording artist and actor Chris Brown, drew a crowd of 5,500 fans, earning $50,000 for charity partners. The benefit concert, headlined by Brown and held in his hometown of Richmond, VA, earned funds for The American Red Cross, Greater Richmond Chapter to support their continued relief efforts in Haiti and their local outreach in the Richmond community, as well as The Central Virginia Food Bank, a FeedMore organization, which fights hunger in the region by providing food and grocery products to an extensive network of partner agencies.
Brown personally presented each agency with a check for $25,000 on June 7, 2010.

So, if I’m not mistaken… this track recently leaked along with different versions including one featuring rapper JDot. Some of what was leaked was not finished, but this one apparently is…and it features Chris on the entire track. Am I late? I saw him tweet about it earlier in the week, but I never listened to the song until tonight. What do y’all think about it? I think its a hot track. Polo does it again!

THECHRISBROWNBLOG.COM was created by me- ERIC L. on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from an undisclosed location my friend’s kitchen. I was tired of the way Chris Brown was treated by the media and the people he believed to be his friends.
I was disappointed at his team for shutting him up all those months when he could have spoke up and told his side of the story. That in my opinion was the first of many mistakes they made after the “incident”. I won’t continue down that route but you get the point.
Chris had become one of the biggest recording artists, they called him the next Michael Jackson, they called him the Prince of R&B; he was huge. I just felt that his team let the situation beat him. I had to do something. Blog sites were talking shit, tabloids were grilling his image, even some of his fan sites posted assault garbage. It wasn’t right. I created this blog because his official sites were never updated to promote Chris Brown as an artist alongside the support of his new brand “Mechanical Dummy”. According to them, they want to separate the two- eff that, I’m promoting both and I’m going to do it right.
Some fans/stans are familiar with the blog because of the @ChrisBrownBlog twitter—sorry for the YEAR delay of the launch (hence I created the site last May). I’m a college student. It’s here now though!
