The Takers DVD release has just now been set, which will include a Blu-Ray version of the action movie released less than three months ago. According to various sources, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment unit has set the Takers DVD and Blu-Ray release date for January 18th, 2011. Special features include behind-the-scenes featurettes that take you deep inside what makes the perfect heist, with tons of interviews with the cast and crew! You can pre-order your DVD and/or Blu-ray disc now!
CHRIS BROWN PLAYS “FAME” ALBUM TRACKS, TALKS KIM KARDASHIAN AND ANSWERS FAN QUESTIONS ON USTREAM!
Last night Chris streamed live around 9 p.m. (EST) after the premiere event for his 12 Strands: Matrix mini film! He spent over an hour talking to his fans about the Matrix film, plans for his new “FAME” album and dished on the Deuces remix line-up. He talked about his crossover-type Pop single ‘Yeah 3x!’ and he even played a snippet of his new Urban single ‘Calypso’. He was too excited and played two more snippets of new songs, ‘Sweetheart’ and ‘All Off’.
He also talked about shooting the “Ain’t Thinking Bout You” video with Bow Wow tomorrow (Wednesday). “The song will be a little different though,” he says. The beat and chorus will stay the same but Bow Wow has an additional verse.
Fans watching the stream had a chance to ask him questions as well. He addressed his touring options, plans for movies, being the ‘Dougie’ spokesperson and even tackled rumors about dating Kim Kardashian. Peep both parts by clicking the links below!

‘TAKERS’ TAKES BOX OFFICE DESPITE ‘EXORCISM’S’ 668 THEATER ADVANTAGE!
#1 Takers (Screen Gems/Sony) -32% Sunday for $20.6M
#2 The Last Exorcism (Lionsgate) -45% Sunday for $20.4M
As of this afternoon, Sony is claiming the victory for Screen Gems’ Takers based on revised estimates including numbers from Sunday where The Last Exorcism fell behind, dropping 45% on Sunday to Takers‘ 32% and that allowed Takers to win the weekend with $20.6 million to Exorcism‘s $20.4 million. It’s still early and one can expect the numbers to be contested with it being so close, but right now, it looks like Takers has indeed kept Lionsgate from having their first-ever third weekend at #1.

Chris stopped through BET’s 106 and Park along with actor Idris Elba to promote their new movie Takers which will be in theaters THIS Friday, August 27th. Chris also talked about the success of his single “Deuces” and finally responded to the rumors that him and Usher would be co-headlining a tour soon.
“At first we were talking about it, but I think maybe something in the future. But right now, I’m just doing the whole Chris Breezy thing,†Chris on joint tour with Usher.
He also addressed the BULLS#!T rumors about his emotional tribute to Michael Jackson being a publicity stunt:

EVENT PICS/VIDEOS: CHRIS TAKES THE STAGE AT “TAKERS” WORLD PREMIERE AFTER PARTY
After attending the premiere of his new action flick Takers (opening in theaters August 27th), Chris Brown took the stage (streamed LIVE on USTREAM) and gave at least a 20 minute set, performing hits like “Wall to Wall”, “Forever” and even some of his mix-tape material like “Deuces” and “No Bullshit”. Aye, Breezy killed it!! In between songs he gave a taste of a routine from his Fan Appreciation tour (I remember seeing it at the Atlanta show) and he did a freestyle set off songs including “Teach me how to Dougie”. Oh, and the brody sounded good until his auto-tuned version of Forever! Incase you missed it- you can watch the performance below (second video + HIGH QUALITY pictures below the cut).
