CHRIS TELLS MTV THAT HE DID 96 PERCENT OF HIS STUNTS FOR ‘TAKERS’…
Chris Brown plays Jesse Attica, the youngest in a crew of bank robbers, in the upcoming movie “Takers.” The band of thieves, which also includes Idris Elba and T.I., has just days to plan and pull off a multimillion-dollar heist.
In a show-stealing action sequence, Brown is chased through the streets of L.A. by Matt Dillon’s character, Detective Jack Welles, and partner Eddie Hatcher (played by Jay Hernandez). The singer-turned-actor leaps through windows, scales buildings, jumps on cars and anything else necessary to avoid being captured.
“The most thrilling part about this movie is probably the stunts,” Brown said on the film’s set. “I do, like, 96 percent of my stunts. Some stunts they wanna use the doubles; I don’t wanna use the double! And they’re like, ‘We have to for safety and insurance issues.’ I think the most exciting parts are the stunts, getting to blow stuff up, shoot guns, you know what I’m saying. It’s all fun!”

Chris plays Jesse Attica in the new movie “Takers†(formally named Bone Deep) also starring Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen, Tip “T.I.†Harris, Micheal Ealy, Jay Hernandez, and Matt Dillon.
Directed by John Luessenhop, Takers (due out in theaters on August 27th) revolves around a notorious group of criminals who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.

Fast forward to the 2:09 mark. One my of favorite rappers, T.I. (TIP)…interviewed with Jesse Lozano recently and was asked about his Takers co-star Chris Brown. It’s really dope to hear him (T.I.) talk about how he stuck by Chris’ side despite his mistake.

Chris posed for a picture with rapper T.I., his fiancee Tiny and their children backstage or outside rather…at the 2010 BET Awards held last Sunday in LA. T.I. will star alongside Breezy in the new movie Takers in theaters August 20th.
